Trust in God is a whole different thing than trust in a person. If someone said he or she had a revelation it's not something I'd just take at his or her word.
shareWould Bill have had that kind of revelation if he hadn't been brought up in that culture? Do regular religious Joe's of any stripe just one day start thinking about plural marriage? If I was Barb I would have kicked him in the nuts about 50 times, that's a revelation you can trust.
I have no problem with consenting adults forming any relationships they want but a lot of this culture and what the show seems to relay is that the women and young boys do not have many choices available to them.
