On the 3rd season: Hate Nikki

This is my first time watching the show so please don't spoil anything for me. I just couldn't hold it back anymore and had to get on here to say I cannot stand that woman!

Besides the fact that her bedside manner is atrocious, she has done NOTHING be undermine Bill and the family every step of the way in her desperate attempts to get in the good graces of her crap family.

She is infuriating to watch. She never pays the price for who she is. Hell one of the first things she did on the show was throw that horrible party for her son Wayne and she invited zero children and opened all his damn presents! Designer shoes he didn't care about. It was awful and nobody said a thing to her about it!

I just can't stand her!

Oh and Ana....I like her as a person but she is SO not a good fit for the family. Their universal acceptance of her was just weird.

I just finished the series yesterday, so keep at it.lol

Nikki is infuriating. That party was just so funny to me. He's a little kid, he doesn't care.lol

I like Ana, and I think you will too.

There actually were children at Wayne's party he just didn't know them because he never goes to the compound.

It was a sad little party and he seemed miserable. I remember him asking Barb if Nicki invited any children to his party and Barb said something like 'let's go and see.' As many kids as Nicki's siblings on the compound must have had it really made no sense why that was one of Wayne's chief complaints. We also saw kids when Roman was doing his creepy version of "Big Rock Candy Mountain" for all of the assembled guests.

Re: Nicki--

Oddly enough I found her to be the most likeable during the 3rd season. I thought she was insufferable seasons 1, 4, and 5. I thought she was okay for most of 2 and 3.

Margene began to irritate the fvck out of me during the second season and by the fourth season I basically wanted her to get hit by a bus or kidnapped by JJ.

Barb would frustrate me at times but I never hated her. She had the patience of a saint to deal with Nicki and Margene for as long as she did IMO.

I watched most of the BL episodes when they came out and now i am rewatching them on HBO On Demand, but I have never seen Nikki act anything less than repulsive.

Sometimes in Seasons 3-4 they tone her down to merely annoying -- the rest of the time she is flat out repugnant.

For that matter I don't think I can ever recall seeing Chloe Sevigny in a role in which she was not an utterly hateful bttch.

Nikki is my favorite. Not because she's likeable, but because her character is very interesting to me.

IMO the character of Nikki is not even particiularly very interesting: she was emotionally and probably physically abused herself during her upbringing, so now she has developed into a completely selfish, egotistical and callous adult.

Neither surprising nor particularly interesting.

Really?
I hated her the first two seasons, then hit season three and that's when I liked her. Best character or should I say most interesting, I hated Barb this season.
