Constant References to Lincoln
This show makes me sick because of the numerous syncophantic references to Abe Lincoln. HONEST historians -- there are a few -- will tell you that NO OTHER PRESIDENT disreprected the U.S. Constitution as much as Lincoln. Lincoln SUSPENDED HABEUS CORPUS, the constitutional protection against unlawful imprisonment. Why? Because he HAD HIS CRITICS ARRESTED!! That is just ONE example.
I suspect the Lincoln worship in this show is NOT because Mormons worship Lincoln but rather because Tom Hanks is executive producer. Hanks is a descending of Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks.
