Why do the bikers terrorize them ?

They didnt do anything to the bikers but they harrassed them for no reason? Then the lone girl biker wanted to shot them !?!?

I know the girl wanted to rob them, but previously all the bikers were attacking the truck on the road for no reason. Then they get to the rest stop and the bikers are there and there is no confrontation ?!

Just bad writing all round. Crap movie with crap characters but at least I had a grand old time cheering the Sheriff (R. Lee Ermey is God) and Leatherface on - what a hoot!

I think its more Sterotypical probally just wanted the bikers to terror them and get the scared without any intention of doing anything to them like they wanted to mess with them.

The bikers terrorized the people because that's what Michael Bay thinks bikers do.......................for no reason. He things American audiences will believe this crap.

There is no "off" position on the genius switch.

It's not just some stupid stereotype tht Michael Bay put in there. It's just a fact that bikers especially around that time were ass holes (really mean f'd up scary *beep* If you ever read or even seen videos about how bikers were youd see why they put that. Especially if you heard about what bikers like the hells angels did at the altamont concert in 69. They stabbed a dude just for lookin at them wrong, and beat ppls heads in with cue sticks. They were messed up ppl, the kinda ppl you would not wanna be near, let alone jus look at. Its just how they were, terrorize ppl just for the fun of it. That is how bikers were, not like how you see them now like in Sons of anarchy

Happy you said it. I don't think people watching movie realize the M.O. of bikers in the 1960s and 70s.

Throughout the years, Biker gangs gained a reputation for robbery along the highways. Hence, the phrase "this is highway robbery".

They were simply robbing them and terrorizing them because thats what they did, and that's how they lived

yeah good point, apparently the Stones hired the hells angels as security
