What happened to the giant fat woman?

The fat woman in the kitchen was rammed to the door and I don't remember her getting killed. What happened to her and who was she?

The Tea Lady survives. She is in the remake.

The remake and this one never explain what her connection is with the Hewitts. Either a family friend, or perhaps Luda's sister? She only seems to be in this one for fan service I suppose.

In the 2003 version, she lives in a trailer with that creepy Carol Peletier look-alike who had the stolen baby.

Yeah i was wondering why the Carol Peletier look-alike wasn't in THIS movie. She should have been. She was a part of that nutty family.

Yeah, you're right, she should have been. I thought she was a pretty memorable character. Something about the way she played that scene in the trailer was really eerie. Maybe they just couldn't find a younger actress who looked enough like her. I'm just happy someone knew wtf I was talking about, lol...

Well, I'm thinking that since she lived in a trailer, maybe that's why she wasn't in TCM: The Beginning cuz they never went to her trailer in it....just my opinion....

I guess it served a purpose in the 2003 version, giving Erin a reason to think she might actually have found help. Clearly she didn't realize she was in a horror movie yet. I guess if I had to pick her or the large tea lady as a character to include in the prequel, I would have picked the tea lady too, because she was more memorable to most people.

On a side note, something that bugged me...I think it was her character that said, in the 2003 version, that his skin condition started when he was just a boy. But in the prequel, he was funky looking from birth. As long as we're shamelessly nitpicking, anyone else notice that?
