shareNot really, but its worth doing it. LFIJ is great, and has some tie ins with scenes from this film, but nothing major.
shareit honestly doesnt matter, i saw letters before flags and it made no difference.. both movies are good but i prefer letters, in my opinion it was deeper because the men on the japanese side knew they were never going to see home again, never going to leave that island, whereas the american boys had every intention of fighting and living to go home one day.. when you know youre going to die, the situation changes drastically
