How much action is in the movie?
I was thinking of watching this, but I dont want to watch it if it is mostly talking. So is it like Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers at all?
sharesaving private ryan was MUCH better. this has some limited action in it, the movie is a series of flashbacks but it definitely still has some grizzly violence in it. i haven't seen band of brothers so i can't compare it to that, but saving private ryan is a great movie while this one is just so-so at best.

You won't like this movie if you're looking for Saving Private Ryan action, this movie has a more political view and shows transitional roles for the characters. A little action here and there but nothing like Saving Private Ryan, but then again nothing is.
I suggest you watch Letters From Iwo Jima, it's a better film and more intense.
