Finally...

Its amazing that all we had about the Soviet Afghan war was Rambo and the beast. Company 9 has finally revealed how the young soviets were trapped into going to Afghanistan "to help". The scene where the snow melts inside the plane and the bliding sun follows with the Mi-24 Hind howering in front....cool!

The music was very good....Mujahideen ambush was very typical....Panjshir....river side.

I think a movie showing how interesting it is to see the roots of the communist movement in Afghanistan..how a few Afghan army officers who studued in the Soviet Union decided to take a 360 degrees turn on the conservative system driven by Islam....they began the April revolution

I think A movie could be about Ahmad Shad Massoud...who fought 9 soviet offences in Panjshir...he is the one the Movie should be about...it can show all the angles.

If the soviets had not gone into Afghanistan it would be such a different world!
