Great War Movie!!!

It should be part of the training of the US soldiers going to Iraq! And it should be tranlsated in English so the Americans can see what really is a war in the Midle East. Very sad and very realistic. Bravo, Boundarchuk!

It's a scary thought really.

I'm simply saying it's a poor film, almost as bad as that other overhyped piece of crap Come & See, well guess what, I did go and see, and what I saw was rubbish.

The movie was OK, but I don't know what kind of desert training you can get from it? Other than the "bad people" walk directly into your line of fire in wave after wave. And they look suspiciously Russian instead of middle eastern (particulatrly the guy who played "Ahmed").

I don't care if this movie is propaganda or not. I enjoyed it as a war movie. The movie was very good. Good acting, good directing, excelent scenery and camera work.

PS: I didn't like "Idi I Smotri (Come and See)", either. That was a boring movie. It had a few interesting action moments and some other really touching moments, but the rest of it was the result of a very poor script.
