boredom... painful boredom

this movie is bad. I left it in the middle, i just couldn't watch it any longer. I was predictable uberpatriotic and intolerant. There was a feeling that it was made for stupid male teens by portraying some charcters incredibly "cool". The beginning was promising, but then, when it got to fighting it just was painfully boring. There are quadrillions of american films like that, they are bad, but swapping the uniforms and customs of the charcters doesn't make films like this any better. Just another pile of fantasy crap about "our boys" going to war instead of dating girlies facing hideous faceless "enemies". How comes that people still go watching movies like that? Truimph of bad taste? If Russian cinematography will go on like that, consider it 2 b dead or lost in action.
