In the final battle, why don't the Soviets use their heavy machine gun? It looked like it could make swiss cheese out of the mujahideen, but they barely fire it. The whole end scene was way to chaotic, these are supposed to be Russias best soldiers.
shareThey did use it. The dukhi's targeted it, first, using assualt rifles, taking out a few gunners, then, using an RPG, taking the gun itself out. The Russians also used a heavy morter, but the dukhi's also took that out with their own heavy morter.
