Do Not Watch The Dubbed (English) Version

If you do really want to see the movie, do yourself a favour and do not rent the English dubbed version. I think a lot is lost in the film, almost giving it a comedic b-movie feel at times where Godzilla could pop out at any moment (in reference to the Japanese dubbed films, if you didn't get that).

I think the cinematography was great, some good actors but it does not compare to movies like Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Apocalypse Now or Black Hawk Down. Granted, those are some of the best war movies ever made, so don't expect that. I do honestly think that the horrible dubbed version attributed to my mediocre rating of this film. But there are some other issues that have been discussed in previous posts that I agree with.
