Well, it was about hills and the helecopters killed their own men, which didn't happen in the events this movie was based on.
Still, the photography of the Russian war machine looked great.
Haven't seen HH in many many years, scene where they're waiting for final muj assault and the helicopters arrive totally reminded me of similiar scene near the end of "we were soldiers once". That's after the first half seemed lifted from "full metal jacket". All in all, a great movie....brave men in the service of a deeply flawed ideal. Final scene when they're leaving makes me wonder if same scene will replay in the near future.
