I liked it, but it's lacking realism
Just watched the movie again, as one of my tv-stations was airing it.
I red up on the story about hill 3234 and the movie really doesn't show the story as it was in reality.
The troops had support, both from artillery and air-power, among other things.
I do understand that the movie is an "ode" to the Afgan war veterans in Russia, and on it's own, it's a nice movie (beautiful photography).
The boys that were sent down there really deserves the honours.
As a "based on a true story" though, I'm not sure it's holding up.
