If you had to think up a supervillain identity at the last second



My fallback villain identity for a while has been Straw Man. For those who don't know, a straw man is a type of logical fallacy where after an argument is made, a person (intentionally or not) misrepresents that argument, then counters their own misrepresentation instead of the original argument. The straw man referred to is supposed to be a literal man made of straw (like a scarecrow) that was set up and then knocked down , but since the fallacy is about misrepresentation, my Straw Man is dressed like a drinking straw.

"I am Straw Man! Based on the name you would expect me to be a cheesy Scarecrow knockoff, but instead I look like a drinking straw. It's a somewhat clever visual pun about the straw man fallacy. If you don't know what that is, I'll be happy to explain it to you. I am an insane criminal!"
