I did SOTW last time, but my wife is not a fan and thinks I look 14 in VB shirts...so I don't know if I can this season. But I really dig the subscription-exclusive I💀NY shirt.

shareI wear mine all the time, too. She thinks I have too many t-shirts as it is and need to clean out. On one hand, I'm a stay at home dad and have no one to impress with my wardrobe. Otoh, I don't make money and though I have my own money that was mine alone, I make plenty of unnecessary purchases already that feed my geekiness and that she doesn't go for. Also, she's a smart shopper and buys good clothing, but asks my opinion on a lot that she gets and wants me to like how she looks. So this is just a guilt thing. But I appreciate the support.

Good for you being the stay at home. I am in the same boat as far as having too many shirts but most of them are no where near the quality of the previous shirt club offerings, as a garment or as geek cred.

I am! My husband got me the tshirt club for valentines day. Every season i pick one shirt out. Last season i kept waiting to see what next week would be and didnt get one. I still wish i had gotten the spanikopita one. Haha. This year i get them all.

Aww, good for you! A la carte is a hard way to get them. You never know what's coming up and can miss out. I did that for the first shirt club and only bought Rusty's Day Camp for Boy Adventurers. Wish I'd gotten more then, especially the 24 one. Spanakopita is a great shirt (& episode!). That one really flies under the radar as socially "normal".

I was late to check out the shirts and missed the Ven-Tech logo for Hostile Makeover. Damn! But I got the Stuyvesant U and just ordered Blue Morpho! Sad thing is they still haven't shipped last week's. I know the info said a few weeks, but I am spoiled by amazon.
(I can barely afford them toward the end of the month but they go quickly! The exclusivity and limited production really sell it to me! I am a sucker; clever marketing.)

I got the 24 shirt that year. Next year was the order of the triad shirt. Love them both. Sad no triad this season, but it makes sense, and i trust jackson and doc. I think i would have gotten last nights shirt if i was going a la carte. I was hoping last weeks would be blue morpho, glad to see it this week. I dont know if everyone makes a big game out of guessing what the shirt will be but my husband and i do.

shareUnfortunately, I was too late to get the full shirt club subscription. I really wanted The Blue Morpho one, too, dammit! I did catch on in time to score Dr. MTM's Modern Enemy Monthly shirt, though. It really is a great way to sell the shirts... you know you have to BUY IT NOW, ha ha ha! I'm glad I got at least one, anyhow. I'm really loving this season and The Monarch's story line. I enjoyed all of the other plot threads but my favorite episodes are always those featuring The Monarch.
