Well, SMHBL.

Well, I got three things to say about that:

1. Fish don't fry in the kitchen.
2. Beans don't burn on the grill.
3. I liked Venture Bros. season 6.

Agree with you. There was no point in any of it to the main plots that go on except the monarchs father thing

Its called a reset. Think back to season one where they set the foundations of the characters. Then season 2 showed that the kids were clones and kept expanding from there. Next season should finally begin to build on what was laid with this short season. Probably throw in strife between the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend again too. Eventually they will have to show how the Monarch and Dr. Venture are related and why they have always looked so much alike.

Usually, hell, always, when a show does a reset it's because the show has been on too long and it's time to end it but everyone is making money so they keep going. I can't think of a single show that has benefited by doing a reset. Most get cancelled the next season. Now, as far as resetting goes, what happened here wasn't that bad, per se, but it wasn't good, either. There was no benefit for it and there were a few drawbacks. You're probably right that this season was a set up for things to come, but this show is in it's sixth season and has been going on for 13 *beep* years, now. They should've done all this Blue Morpho stuff years ago. This is one of the worst shows on TV for setting up mysteries and not answering them. Occasionally, we get a little tid bit of information but rarely anything major. The biggest one was when they finally answered the question of who was Hank and Dean's mom and then they undid that last season. Why? Who knows? Will the real answer be a satisfying pay off? Who knows? Maybe we'll find out in two, four, eight years. Maybe never if the show gets cancelled.

Adult Swim cancelled 'Metalocalypse' when they were about to do their last season. The last three seasons had a ton of useless filler episodes. That time could've been done moving the main plot forward but, instead they wanted to do Augustus St. Cloud episodes and Spanikopia and other goofy episodes. Most of what happened this season could've happened last season or even the one before. I don't want to die of old age before I find out what the hell is up with Dr. Venture and the Monarch's dad. I'd really hate it if the show got cancelled before they said it.

Or maybe you're just an obnoxious contrarian who thinks intentionally bucking popular majority and taking lecturous schoolmarm attitude makes you cool.

Coming from the stand-up troll himself, that's f_cking rich.
