To anyone with the region 0 DVD, does the commentary (and/or the film notes)clear up any of the confusion? If so, I'll happily buy it. I've watched R - Point twice now on Film 4, and although the second viewing helped a little, I'd love to have it explained in detail. I'm not expecting everything to suddenly fall into place, but if the director's commentary can answer some my confusion, then it would be worth buying, for me anyway.
shareThe region 2 version has the commentary as well, and I have watched it with the commentary. However, I really cannot remember a damn thing aboutit. I don't think they really explained much though, as far as clearing up any confusion goes.
shareThe commentary is focused entirely on how certain scenes were made & what difficulties they ran into while filming. It doesn't even touch on any part of the story. Oh, & the commentary isn't in English either, it's subtitled. Just thought I'd warn you in case you didn't already know. Hope this helps.
