After watching "300" and hearing the ab-heavy male characters described as "perfection," "flawless" and "sexy as hell" online, I really feel like Hollywood puts an unrealistic expectation on men. It is giving me body issues. Even if I manage to shed the "Dad bid" look, there's no way I could pull the "300" look off. Does anybody know a good CGI team that could photo edit me in every picture and real life?
shareI can't recommend a great CGI Team but I have to agree with your post. The "Perfect Male Body" as seen in 300 is unrealistic. These actors trained for 8 hours day and six weeks - but have you seen Gerard Butler or Michael Fassbender now? They are still good looking but they didn't maintain this muscular look when filming wrapped.
Use makeup to create fake abs, I'm sure nobody will notice the difference.
