Hey Guys, Ok, I Have a Beef. Does anyone else notice what an A-hole Michael Ian Black is? he's so pessimistic! (sp.) When You First look at him on the show, you think, ok, he looks funny, and then he just starts to spew bleak, cynical, dark, words!. It seems that hes always depressed about something. You never see him laugh, unless its a sinister laugh or hes making fun of something. He just always seems dejected & depressed! Am I the only one who thinks this way?

Hey does that on purpose, which is why he is so funny. Trying to come off as serious makes what he says that much more interesting. When he makes fun of himself for spending all his time doing "I love the...", he is just having a good time making fun of himself which is a breathe of fresh air from others who almost take it seriously. When some of the other people say something and then begin to laugh at their own joke, it isn't quite the same. He is a genius when it comes to these commentary style shows.

I heart Michael Ian Black.
It's just how he does his comedy bit, I love that sarcasm...the way he makes fun of stuff and keeps a total straight face...it cracks me up.
And plus he's totally a hottie.

That's just what I was going to write. They are my favorites. I was hoping Michael & Hal would be in the i love the 70's volume 2. So glad that they were. I would have to turn in my Generation X card if I didn't love his sarcasm.

The fact that Michael Ian Black doesn't laugh is the reason why he's funny. When the other people laugh at their own jokes, most of the time, not all the time, they come off sounding corny. But with MIB, the fact that it looks like he's taking what he says seriously is what makes him so hilarious. I think he's the funniest one out of all the "I Love the ___'s". He's a pure genius when it comes to comedy- he's extremely witty. I love MIB!
