Shaving scene ripoff

How could you even find the shaving scene funny after seeing The Santa Clause? It's exactly the same!! I shave, then look in the mirror and hair grows back! Hahahaha

reply

I thought the same thing, total rip-off.

But i have never seen "The Santa Claus" so to me it wasn't a rip-off.

Eventually everything will be repeated and redone so there's very little originality in general. I don't think it was a rip-off....

You say you never seen The Santa Clause, then you go on to say you don't think it's a rip-off.

How can you say that when you've never seen that film? You're opinion is based on what? History of films?

with Homer...

So by your logic, the whole "building a boat" thing was a rip-off of the Bible. The whole "A man learns a life lesson and spends more time with his family" thing is a rip off of a bunch of movies. Would you say the "Santa Clause" is a rip-off of "Interview with a Vampire"? Claudia tries to cut her hair off and it grows right back.

reply

Cutting hair and growing back is different then shaving a face and having it grow back instantly for laughs. The scenes are identical.

Rip-off of the bible? You mean the book that has a story that this whole movie is based off of? Do you even know what 'rip-off' means?
