Jon Stewart? Stephen Colbert?(spoilers)

I saw this movie on tv and I could swear I saw the two Comdey Central news satirists in the film. Jon briefly appeared on as himself on the show poking fun at Evan when his family is in the diner and Joan talks to God. Stephen if seen not in the same way but as an unnamed field who can be seen and/or heard in various spots before, during, and after the flood scene. Yet their names aren't listed in the credits on imdb. I think Colbert is the Ark Reporter that say "It's Sept. 22 and we're still here...awkrarrrd!"

Initially I thought the reporter you are referring to was Stephen Colbert. It isn't though, it's Ed Helms who's one of the main characters in "The Hangover", they do have a striking resemblance.

You're quite right about Jon Stewart though, that's clearly him on the TV while the family are in the diner, clearly doing a segment from "The Daily Show" just for this film.

If you look back through the cast list you can see Jon Stewart is quite clearly listed as 'Himself'. Stephen Colbert does not appear as he isn't in it. Ed Helms is listed as 'Ark Reporter'.

You'll notice if you go to the bottom of the cast list on full cast for any film, anyone who is uncredited is picked up and included and someone of Colbert's celebrity would have definitely been included.
