What I don't get...

For some of the people around Evan who claim to know about the Bible and God, but think he's crazy for what he's doing and what he believes, they sure seem to forget it mentions a lot in the Bible that some people who do things in the name of the Lord are considered foolish and liars and not believed. Anybody else find that strange?

I agree and it also seemed strange that what Evan was doing didn't seem to attract any true religious fanatics...you know, those guys who when they talk "God" is like every other word out of their mouth or Jehovah Witnesses or something. It seems IRL we are surrounded by religious nuts but they seemed to be completely removed from this story.
