Did anyone else think it was strange that Carell's charachter was named Evan in Bruce Almighty, which was a few years before Carell made it big. Did they have a preminition that he would be big, so they named that charachter in preperation for the sequels title??

I think the Evan thing in the original film was unintentional. Carrey (Bruce) was originally supposed to play the role of Noah in this film, but it had to be rewritten for Evan (Carrell)
