This movie is unreal
All right, I know Bruce almighty wasn't going for realism, but it was a hell of a lot more believable than this thing.

shareThe most crazy thing is that a studio spent 175 million on this thing, there was no way they would get that money back.
You thought a movie about God telling a man to build an ark was going to be believable? At all? Suspension of disbelief is a requirement for a film like this.

Agree with the OP, the film was a lot more fictitious when they could have done otherwise and still kept the humor. A famous politician suddenly quits everything and starts building an ark saying God told him so and everybody is too busy laughing at him (just as in the myth) to notice all the strange animal behavior! And what about people who actually believe, religious groups etc. And wild animals won't just be allowed to roam around.. The flood end scenes were silly too. Things in these modern times aren't as simple as before, as loosely presented in the film.
shareI couldn't see much difference between the "believability" of this one vs Bruce Almighty. But I do prefer BA to EA.
