I'm watching this right now and I've already had several chortles and one LOL moment: Evan's "metrosexual" look was hysterical. Wanda Sykes makes me laugh every time she opens her mouth. We need to just go ahead and put Morgan Freeman on Mount Rushmore.

Now, at the halfway point, I'm curious where we're headed. Is it all going to be about quashing that land bill? Is it going to start pouring rain?

Very satisfactory. Decent CGI on the flood. Nice touch with the dove. "You saved that dog" gave me a little dewey eye.

I do not understand all the hating on this movie.

I have watched this movie probably 50 times so far and I still laugh out loud when Wanda says "You know what? You got me, he's here. We're in the middle of a yoga class. Hang on lemme just finish my sun salutation..." and slams the phone down. I really don't know why I find that so funny, but it kills me. This is definitely on my Top 20 Favorite Movies list. Did you get to see the extras, about how they cancelled out the carbon footprint of the movie? Riding bikes, donating the materials from the sets to Habitat For Humanity (I think it was HFH...) Really interesting stuff.
