Why does Congressman Long address Evan this way? I get that it's a Southern thing but in the Whitehouse? I cant't help wondering how appropriate this would be considered in real life.
shareThey aren't in the White House. Senators and Representatives are in the Capitol Building. And I'm sure it's not uncommon at all for the senior member of any team to take a parental/guardianesque role when inducting new members. Especially when the senior Rep is sheisty and needs to get the newbie's guard down to get his slimy bill passed.
