why is this movie awesome? cuz of BILL MURRAY

Bill Murray makes this movie. Hes an amazing actor, he knows how to play someone you would know in real life. The reason I appreciate Murray's performance here is because he had many opportunities to ham it up, big time. Really milk the middle age angst thing, instead he just coasts through it all, and to me, thats how things are in real life, some people rarely show emotion.

Whenever Murray goes to that flower store and that girl puts some band aid on his cut, that was a sweet scene. Its how things are in real life, sometimes you meet nice people and you know things will be alright.

Bill was quality as usual. That was the main interest of the film for me, watching another classic Bill Murray performance. Legend.

Bill was great, but the reason the movie will stand as a classic is because of JIm.

Not knocking Bill's performance, but the reason why he "coasts through it" so easily is cause he just holds a poker face throughout every scene. Not a very hard thing to do. Murray just has the perfect face for it.

So what really makes the film and his performance stand out is how well the personalities of the people around him clash with his dead pan. So I give my props more to the girl in the flower store... considering her role was so much more challenging.

I probably wouldn't have been motivated to watch it if it didn't have Bill Murray in it, so I'll have to agree that he really helped make this movie.

Bill Murray in this movie reminded me of the great Peter Sellers.
