Strange film on the whole really even though i really liked Bill Murray's performance. One thing bugged me in particular though, what was with Winston's accent? The guy was obviously meant to be portraying a character from africa or the carribean but he sounded like he was from india or something.
shareHis accent did not seem realistic and it was distracting. It did sound Indian. Why not choose a real Ethiopan actor or have him play an African-American?
shareIf Peter Sellers's accent in The Party is anything to go by - and other characters' supposed to be Indian I seen - then, no, Indian it was not. And how many people here even know what an Ethiopian accent is supposed to sound like, anyway?
