Do women who work in offices actually wear short shorts to work in Britain? So far, all of his office help wear absurd clothes to the office. I know it's a comedy, but that's ridiculous.

They're out in the country in Wales. It's like Northern Exposure in the UK.

It takes place in Cornwall not Wales. I'm not sure how you could confuse the two and I'm not even from the U.K.
