Why isn't this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/combined in the recommendations? They both have gang activity; one bad cop and one undercover cop that was "exiled" from training and "disappeared."
Very disappointed IMDb.
Maybe they didn't recommend it because The Departed was a remake of it - and they might have felt it would be redundant. Both are great movies - but basically the same - much more than the aspects you mentioned.
