Its called Bad, quite famouse, he was a visionary.
But seriously this film was atroctious! it was about nothing and they were obviously going for the Darko audience, without really understanding the Darko audience. Thumbsucker was better, it was similar but didnt try to piggy back on any other films success. w.o.t. (waste of time)

I guess I'd consider myself in the "Darko audience", considering Donnie Darko is one of my all-time favorites.
This, however, I think really gives off a completely different feel. The mood is, at times, lighter, and overall much more openly satiracle.
As for Thumbsucker, I can't say my enjoyment approached anything close to my enjoyment of this. I thought the characters in Thumbsucker where significantly less likeable.
Just my view, though.
