Andy would’ve been better off without Trish

She really didn’t seem to approve of Andy’s love of toy collecting and she also ripped on him for riding a bike to work. I’m like uh, unless you’re going to buy me a car stfu about my transportation. Why would he need one anyway if his job and local commodities are just a bike ride away anyway. Doesn’t have to make car, gas, maintenance or insurance payments so he’s saving money there.

Andy could’ve done a lot better, and could probably get girls half his age anyway.

She helped him grow up and being an adult.

She broke him out of his shell which was vital. I don't think their relationship would have lasted, but it was important for him to get out there and take that first step. Andy seemed like a cool dude and this relationship would give him the confidence to approach women.

A sequel would be interesting, like Andy being single again and tries to go out and score with his old friends (and according to my experiences, getting laid the second time is actually harder mentally - after the first one, you can rationalize that it was just a one-time lucky "accident").
