Is there anyone who wishes he stayed a virgin?
Cause it seemed to me that he didn't really care about losing his virginity. It was more his friends who made him feel like it should be gone.

I'd bet that he did want to have sex when younger like any young man when the hormones first start surging, but situations and circumstances prevented this (speculation here). But once someone goes so long without doing something, it becomes more difficult and even more scary.
My buddy's son is 23 and still doesn't drive. He has a good job and a car, but never learned. Now that he's 25, he doesn't even want to talk about getting his driver's license. I honestly don't think he'll ever drive at this point.
I don't drive either because of my anxiety and I'm in my late 20s. I don't find it a tragedy as long as he has some form of transportation. That's why I didn't like that they made fun of him for riding a bike. Who cares?! If it takes him from point A to point B.
shareAndy was a hero.
He was cycling and he wasn't adding anymore babies to the population (plus, think of all the contraception he saved on; bear in mind that condoms are made from latex rubber which take many years to decompose; The UN Population Fund estimates around 10 billion male latex condoms are manufactured each year and most are disposed of in landfills, but it's not a stat that is repeated often, because, hey 'safe sex', right?) So, his carbon footprint was MUCH LOWER than the average man.
Like I say, if anyone was critically thinking about Andy's lifestyle, they'd see that he was a HERO.

He bought the car from a family member in anticipation of acquiring a license. For all I know he sold it by now. Next time I talk to my buddy I'll ask about it although it's a sore subject.
shareYep, he was a decent guy for 40 years, he could have waited a little longer for the marriage and make it special.
shareI like the film, but it would have been a better message to say that sex doesn't really matter that much.
The film seemed to be saying that everyone MUST HAVE SEX, as if it's somehow *necessary*. I mean, it's necessary for kids, but that's about it, and the film seemed to suggest that Andy and Trish weren't thinking of having kids (even though fortysomethings *can* have kids with minimal complications, CONTRARY to the medical agenda-driven SCAREMONGERING).
