Fighting over a girl

Im in a strange situation right now. I work for my fathers company here in the US. He hired a woman a few months ago to work in a branch that operates in another country. Shes been here(along with a coworker) the past 3 weeks visitng/working our main offcies, and I was interested in getting close to her. Shes the type of girl thats friendly with everybody so shes hard to read. Anyway, I can talk to her fine, but unfortunately, I havent had much if a chance to talk with her one on one. I thought I was hitting it off with her somewhat, but Thursday afternoon this kid that shes been talking to invited her to a bar and then invited me as well. He offered to pick her up at her hotel to take her to the part of town where all the bars were at, even though I live closer to the hotel shes staying at.

On the way back, she went with him instead of me. On Thursday night after coming back from the bar, I offered to take her to the King of Prussia mall, because I thought she might want to go. So what does she do? She tells him and then he offers to take her and then invites me. So I go to the mall me, him and her and she talks to him more than me. Hes the funny goofy dude that can make her laugh easily, and I cant compete with that. Humor is not something that comes so easily to me. You guys have any advice? My point is, we were hitting it off but recently, this guys has turned the tables on me. Im not sure if hes really into her, or if hes just being nice because shes leaving Monday, but I think its the former.

Sorry to say, but it sounds like shes into the other guy. You invite her out, she tells the other guy then they invite you. She likes you enough for you to hang out with her, but thats it.

As far as humor goes, personally with me, there have been times where I can think of a one liner or pun spur of the moment. Just depends on what your talking about.

I do think you could be right. But I do also think shes clueless/oblivious. She did ask me if it was ok that she invited that dude, because she wasnt sure if I wanted to take just her(She asked me in front of the guy who invited me by the way). I think she wanted me to be direct and make my intentions clear, but I was too cowardly to do so. The guy that shes talking to has until this point, gotten along well with me and her, so my guess is she thought nothing of inviting him.

And unlike me, he had the balls to ask her to do something directly. Also, she was trying to invite someone else but they couldnt come. I think at the very least shes more comfortable with this guy, because hes very talkative while Im more reserved. At the same time, that doesnt necessarily mean she likes him as more than a friend. Im hoping anyway.

It's over, you're not getting any of that unless you catch her drunk after a break up. ?
