Not being a troll here, I haven't yet seen this.
I asked because I read some early interviews made before this was filmed that Sarah Michelle Gellar that this was going to be one and Richard Kelly also said that this is a "post-modern musical".
As the title says.
There is music, and a handful of dance sequences (The best being Justin Timerlake's number to "All these things that i have done" by the Killers.)
I don't think it is necessarily what i would classify as "a musical", but Richard Kelly does know AWESOME music. Lotsa Moby, Black Motorcycle Club, Muse...Some really good songs.

It is not a damm musical. There's one scene where JT lyp syncs while high on liquid karma its meant to trip you out. If you're gonna see this movie at least get a summary of the first 2 stories that come before it. This movie is part 3 in a three part graphic novel written by Richard Kelly
