After she catches him doing you know what to some slutty Kay paraphernalia, Sarah finds kleenex.. why does she get grossed out? Was he using those in what she caught him doing? I'm not trolling by asking that. It's a serious question.

They were most likely used to ... erm ... "clean up" after himself Lord knows why he didn't just throw them away

This part of the film I thought was way over blown by her. She seemed distant from the guy and not interested at all in him and it was obviously that is what turned him to start this behavior, yet it is not explored. I also felt she had no right to cut him out of his daughters life by running away and taking his kid. Heck, I even wandered was he the real dad.

I believe she say her husband was the father. I'm not sure.

It said in the movie that she got pregnant after they got married so I'm certain he was the father. If he wasn't then they would have given more clues or just flat out mentioned that he was her stepdad or something. Besides, Sara seemed to be happy with her life until Lucy came along and she was stuck in the house all day with "this unknowable little person"
