Suggestions?

Hey I was wondering what other books/tv shows/movies out there follow the same idea of this show and going around the world like this. I know there's Ted Simon's book "Jupiter's Travels" which I am currently reading but is there anything else out there? Any suggestions? Thanks.

The BBC has done a few good documentary programs and series on this kind of thing. One that aired recently was called Around the World in 80 Treasures. The title pretty much sums it up - this guy traveled across the globe visiting different world wonders.
Michael Palin, formerly of Monty Python fame, has also done countless far-flung travel documentaries. Many of them are out on DVD. The most recent one was called Himalaya, and it was excellent.

Walk Across America is also a good book. It's acutally two books, the first is titled the "Walk Across America", and I read it in high school. I'd recommend it.

I'd suggest Michael Palin's travels which are in book and TV series form. There's also Bill Bryson's books, which I haven't actually read but are meant to be good travel books.
