Long Way Round in History class

I talked my daughter's Modern World History teacher into showing part of Long Way Round in class! Too exciting.

I'm actually a certified teacher (not teaching yet, though) and I plan on using this when I finally land a teaching job when I teach geography. I also like the new series "Going Tribal". I really love this series, and can't wait for the ext. series to come out...

Hope you will get to show LWR. All H.S. students should be required to watch this in a geography class. Last week on the news, Khazakstan was mentioned and I knew where it was! They should especially see the Mongolian segment and the Road of Bones segment.

it taught me loads! i never knew about the atrocities that happened on the road of bones until i saw that dvd.So deffo worth a watch in class
