I'm reading the book but really want to see the filmed version. Anyone knowwhere i can find it. I live in Canada. Thanks a billion

Hi viggos_godess,

you probably already know this but you can order it from amazon.com or something like play.com if you have it in canada.

If that fails you should try ebay, that site is full of DVD's and someone would be willing to sell it.

You can get yourself an all region player and order one from the UK, or wait until they release a Region 1 version and buy it in your homeland.

i got mine from amazon.co.uk

i had trouble playing it because my region free DVD player recently broke but i found a program for my computer that allows my DVD drive to play DVDs from any region, so yay!!

i just watched the entire show in one sitting, lol

I'm from Australia, and we get NOTHING over here until like 3 years after you guys. I recently was in Canada for a skiing trip and bought the book while I was over there (fantastic read by the way). I know you can buy the DVD on amazon.co.uk, and it's multi-region and PAL. PAL is the coding we use in Australia, so does that mean I can play it on our regular DVD player here? As you can see I'm not very technology literate...

I bought my dvd from amazon.co.uk--not knowing that it would not play on my tv.{this was the 7 episode] I have a portable dvd player so I tried it on that and it played. So I hooked it up to my tv and watched it on the larger screen. This was all before it was offered in the USA. I then sent for the 10 episode one and did the same thing. They turned out to be region 0. [Thay wouldn't play on my regular dvd or tv, but only on the portable.] I wish they would make everything uniform for the world. This is a pain in the ---. Finally region 1 came out with the 7 episodes,[in the USA], but sitll waiting for the 10 episodes. They will have made another trip by the time it does, if ever. I didn't know these were avaliable in Canada. Both books were teriffic also.
