... but when they are camping together for the first time , I think it's in Australia, they are lying in the tent and one of them says: "These aren't pillows!"
What does he mean by that? It is supposed to be funny?

It's a reference to "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" where Steve Martin wakes up with his hand between John Candy's arse cheeks and Candy says "those aren't pillows!"
