I dont know if anyone asked the question before but what was the red powder that the old man gave ewan and charlie to sniff? Was it drugs?I was wondering because they didnt seemed to mind being filmed doing it so it thought it might not be drugs.

It wasn't drugs. It was snuff. Snuff is a powdered tobacco. Basically just a different method of getting your nicotine fix.
