Mondo Enduro and Terra Circa... I'm pretty sure Ewan or Charley saw this and became inspired. Shame they didn't reference them at all on the show.
shareMondo Enduro makes Long Way Round look tame. If you compare te bit in LWR when they don't get the Carnet stamped in Czech Rep. and everyone has a massive panic to in Mondo Enduro where Austin realises he's got his car registration document rather than his bike so just scribbles out the numbers and writes them in a biro. Seemed like much more of an adventure.
