Do you think we will ever have those flying bikes?

Man how I wish with all my heart those were real! Obviously if they were ever developed they would be used in the military first. But still...what do you think?

I don't think we will ever have those bikes. The danger to others on the street is too great, and the likelihood of being thrown off in a sharp turn is too high.

They are cool though.

I've got mine on preorder already. Only two million down for deposit. :)

How will you live long enough for your bike to be built? Or would I be happier not knowing the details of your policy?

Right, flying motorcycle, coming right up:

(machine guns and heads-up display sold separately)

A hundred years ago people probably thought everybody in the future would have their own airplane parked in the driveway.

30 years ago people would never believe that in the future there were things such as the Internet or a cell phone.

Still, if one of these bikes do exist in some point in the future, I doubt it would be available publicly, mainly because of safety reasons.

I want one of those or even that car might do. what was it again. the 500000 USD one lincoln's stupid clone crashed?

reply

That was a Cadillac concept car, they actually make those, just they only make a few of them each year

Cadillac concept cars are always nicer looking than the final production models, but you can see some elements carried over between the two

All they did for the movie was borrow a 2006 concept car from Cadillac and than claim it was a 2009 production model (for the sake of the story)

Just do a search for Cadillac concept cars

I don't know on what backwater planet you live but here we already had cell phones and internet 30 years ago.

reply

Yes - just as soon as they are practical and there is a market for them.
