As the Father Of A Daughter

The scene when Rapunzel is finally reunited with her parents and her father breaks down, it puts a lump in my throat. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my daughter.

Same here. I just finished the film and in the scene before the lanterns, when the father had that sad devastated face, I told my wife "you know, now that I have a daughter, I really can feel his pain", it truly hit a sensitive chord and I almost choked up.

Darth Vader is scary and I  The Godfather

I love that scene. I love that there are no words spoken, all we hear is the soft gentle music and all we see are the expressions on the characters faces.

It's why I love animated films, I don't think a live action film could have done it better!

My mum has always tears in her eyes when the parents are shown.

Personaly I think that this is some of the best animation/storytelling possible. No words are needed to understand and feel all the emotions. Just look at the scene where the queen is comforting her husband and on his face you see tears forming and.. 😭
