Clairvoyant monkey?

Character sketches and scenes from the movie are shown in the musical ending credits. One sketch shows a monkey wearing a turban staring into a crystal ball as Flynn and Rapunzel look on. Another sketch shows Flynn being chased by a bear in the woods. These scenes were not in the film. Were these scenes deleted from the movie? If so, when were they supposed to have been shown in the film? Does anyone know?

They had them as deleted scenes on the blu ray/digital copy I have.

I think both were meant to be either just before the tavern.
