how much sex is in this?

hi, i was wondering how much sex is in this movie, because my parents have very strict rules about this, so please someone tell me how much is in it, so i can go and see it.

thanks for your help

reply

But they probably don't care if there is a brutal violence or explicit depictions of murder, right?

reply

no, not really, i just need to know how much there is in this movie, they dont care

reply

You just want to know if ms wood takes her gear off right? Just ask that instead. And if you are serious and your parents really are afraid you might see a boob, or some sex and really dont care about the violence I am scared for the future of this country. No one would be here on earth if people didnt have sex, pretty much everyone does it at some point in their lives. Now murder and violence is something that most "normal people" dont involve themselves in. It seems like an ass backwards kind of thinking. Violence is ok to see on screen, but not sex. Strange to me anyway.

reply

Just answer the kids question.

reply

There is a couple of sex scenes, but you don't see anything.

how do you know alex?

what's not legit about it, he sounds like he is just curious, now i dont belive his BS about the parents, but he sounds like he wants answers. i doubt he is a 2, i think he is a 3 if anything. it doesnt sound like he is "boobie drooling", but i dont know i have never seen him in other boards.

reply

i don't see why not answering the question will help the 'kid'. what affect will it have on them if you do say it has heaps of titties, or none at all? if all he wants to see is tits then i'm sure they will go find some porn instead of watching a movie just for a sex scene. so, if you haven't seen the film and can't say, why waste your time posting here? personally i don't see anything wrong with the question and had i have seen the movie i would have answered.

You guys are too stupid for your own good. If I was watching a movie with my parents a scene of violence would be much more agreeable than the awkwardness felt during a sex scene. I thought it was common sense, guess not.

reply

SaladsAreForWimps, that is not common sense. Let's follow this logic for a moment:

A) A man ties explosives to a woman, shoots her in the head, then detonates the dynamite so her entire body explodes into small shards of flesh. Blood is splat everywhere as he curses profanities discriminating against race/gender/religion/age/etc... This is "a scene of violence."

B) A man holds hands with a woman. They hug each other tightly and proceed to kiss their lips. As they lie down romantically, they gently remove their clothes (exposing some skin) as they cuddle and roll in bed together... This is a "sex scene."

WHAT IS A BETTER ROLE MODEL? Clearly, "B" (romantic sexual embrace) is a more agreeable role model for a better/positive/peaceful future than "A" (excessive violence).

Need I say more?

reply

It is not a role model thing.

I have never in my life felt more awkward than when I was sitting between my parents as a kid in the movie theater and there was a graphic sex scene on the screen. My parents never really cared about me seeing violence or sex in movies, but I felt as uncomfortable as hell watching a sex scene around them. Come to think of it, I am 23 and I still am that way sometimes.

"I'm serious fishboy.......I don't think the "kid's" post is legit. So I won't dignify it with an answer. There a lot (unfortunately) of posters on these boards who are not who they pretend to be. Why encourage them? There are different categories of posters 1) people fabricating a persona, to just play with people, but in a harmless way ; 2) people who fabricate a persona to rile people up cuz they have nothing better to do; 3) legit posters who want to share opinions with others."

I never knew curiousity wasn't legit.

are you a virgin??

no really do you think someone who has had sexual experiences before would write something like this "as they cuddle and roll in bed together... This is a "sex scene." "

reply

Totally agree. My parents weren't extremely strict about what movies I saw. But personally, I liked to know what was in a movie before I saw it to avoid awkwardness. There are just some movies you aren't meant to see with them.

reply

i agree with you

reply

Wow, MrsToro needs a good slap across the face for being so annoying.

"So I won't dignify it with an answer" That parts the funniest, you must love the smell of your own farts? you came into a question asking thread and then decided to post why you weren't going to answer the question. You are aware that you are talking about yourself with the little numbers thing.

Your a complete idiot (mean it as nice as possible sorry) but hey if youd rather watch xxx with your family instead of some action then i guess that explains your post

EXACTLY! I totally agree with the above...i don't understand why people think watching violence is okay whereas sex is "embarassing" - everyone practically does it hence why were are alive! it's weird how people think that sex is uncomfortable to watch on screen....i guess it's because it's supposed to be a "private" thing....then again, killing is kinda personal too...oh i dunno this subject is quite tricky!!

Then keep enjoying watching sex scenes with your family..hell, rent a porn and feel the power of the nature!

Its normal that people are uncomfortable watching sex on tv with their parents...

reply

There's just one main scene when Evan and Edward have sex, but u dont see much nudity, its just action really, although it's Evan who initiates it and is a bit graphic in terms of the way she is moving!!!

I agree up to a certain point. Regular sex scenes in movies weren't embarrasing to watch with my parents. However, one night when I was up late watching something with my mom, she started flipping through a couple of hardcore porn channels, describing in details how she thought porn was ridiculous. I have to say, that was slightly awkward. If there's one thing you don't wanna hear, then it's your mom's take on what's wrong about cumshots.

reply

jackburtonishere - what a jerk you are. Whether the "kid" is real or not, why not just answer the question? What's the danger in saying "there's some simulated sex and quasi-nude scenes, but they don't really show boobs or anything."

I guess lecturing strangers on the internet makes you feel important. Have it, big fella.

reply

honestly, not much really...

reply

Well, I have "high" standards when it comes to what is depicted as sex. LOL! To be honest, I don't know why the American rating system puts this as an R rating. I saw this flick in Canada and it's rated as 14+ and rightly so. There is no extreme graphic nudity or sexual violence like you would expect in porn or bondage S&M. It just a couple of scenes in which Edward Norton and Evan Rachel Ward are making out. The best one is the first making out scene in which ERW dry humps EN in the sitting position on the floor. You don't see anything as the shot is from chest up and they are fully clothed. He's necking her while she is dry humping him to stimulate intercourse. I was surprised the actors do play characters similar to their age in real life. ERW is just 18 which really is half the age of EN! I believe she plays a 17yr. old in the film. The second scene is where they are supposedly nude in the bathtub together. Again there's nothing to see and is shot from an angle that ERW boobies don't reveal themselves. Other than that, the rest of the pic is shoot-em up cowboys. :))

reply

Listen you Donkety Butts, we just want to know if we can see her Yum Yums or Hoo hoo. Who gives a f... about murder and crap, just show us Evan's poonannie.

ITS *beep* I WANT TO SEE EVAN NAKED AND MORE ORGASMS! PRETTY PERSUASION HAS WORST SEX.

reply

Wow. Just... wow.

reply

There's only one actualy sex scene in the movie. There's a 'naked in a bath tub' scene, but they're not doing it.
