Wade's Tattoo

Could anyone make out what Wade had tattoo'd on his right arm? I'm just curious.

It looked like a bird feather to me. Dark, all one color. Maybe to look like a quill, as a writing reference. It could be some symbolism about the writing he is doing or how he was livng-you know, fantasy, head in the clouds. Just a guess, but definitely a feather.

Thanks, I will have to really look next time I watch it. I had no idea what it was.

edited to add:
After I read your reply I thought I would see if I could find a pic of the tattoo. Amazingly I could only find one screen shot that partially showed it. It kinda looks like the feet of a dragon showing. What do you think???

It was Harlan (Ed Norton's character) who had the feather tattoo, not Wade. The feather had a touch of red on the tip, which I don't know was supposed to be coloring or blood.
