Be honest, did you see the twist coming?

There are 2 types of people who watched this movie.
1. Everyone who did not see the twist coming.
2. Liars.

I don’t believe in ghosts but I’d pee myself if I saw one

I saw the twist coming the second Charlie looked Lucinda up on the company web page. How convenient that there was no picture next to her name. Now LaRoche still being alive was a slight surprise, but I thought that twist was a bit silly. They should have just left him dead. It seemed like they tried too hard by tacking that on for shock value (and to give Charlie an excuse to finally use Winston's shiv).

"They only mock that which they don't understand."

I saw the twist coming from a mile away. In fact, I was shouting at Clive Owen's character to wake up already! Unfortunately, he didn't hear me - darnit! It also didn't seem plausible to me that a man would pay out that much money for a woman he just met. And why he didn't just hand the phone to the cop that was standing right there when he was being blackmailed was beyond me! Guess they wanted to ramp up the action, but the plot had a lot of holes in it. The final insult to the viewer's intelligence was that his briefcase was just sitting there - with the money still in it! Seriously?!? Glad I didn't pay to see this in the theater.

If you are talking about Lucinda, then no I didnt see it coming.
If you are talking about the final twist in the jail, I cant see how anyone saw that one coming.

Maybe because I hadnt read anything about this movie, I was waiting for the train to be 'Derailed' at the start & when that didnt happen, I just went along with what they wanted me to think.

I enjoyed this movie & gave it a 7/10

i kinda saw it coming when Laroche told Charles the adress where they should meet,
and i was like "OMG SHE'S GOING TO BE A PART OF IT!" but at the same time, tryin to deny it like "Nah, they are just probably raping her again!" cause you i kinda liked Aniston's Character...

I did think that Aniston was involved on it. So you are wrong if you are so cocksure that nobody would see the twist. I actually thought that Jennifer would have made him kill her husband on something. But I knew for sure that she has targeted him. Since We see Clive in a prison I guessed he was in prison for killing her husband.
To be honest I did not see the actual twist coming but that was because I was not paying attention. I watched it on youtube and I kept fast forwarding it cause once you figure out the plot you really don't care for the movie I just wanted to see ANiston Naked LOL.
So I was shocked when the rape took place which I fast forwarded also cause nothing was there. I reached the scene and that too I was rewinding forwarding.

I am pretty sure if I had watched the movie properly I would have seen the twist. Becuase I did see that ANiston targetted him.
I just fast forwarded to the end and then the ending was hazy. I was just curious instead of watching parts of it again and decided to come here and find out the ending.
I was just curious if it had plotholes like a stupid ending or a great one.

Bottomline for someone who just fastforwarded through the movie in like 10 minutes to have figured out that Aniston was targetting him and the fact that he was in Jail before I guess its pretty easy for someone to have figured out the twist.
Yeah the twist at the end was actually stupid. No one could see that coming because the director did not show us. Obviously Clive knew he was alive that is why he "choose" that prison. This is the *beep* up part I hate it when movies do this.
They deliberately don't show us something to shock us.
So thats why this movie sucks.

When the guy first broke into the room, I turned to my friend and said "This might be a set-up". I had seen an SVU episode where this happened almost the same way except the couple would kill the cheater. Then the fact that HE was being blackmailed and not her. I again said "Why isn't she also being blackmailed, and if she's conning him, she needs to say the same thing is happening to her. After all, he got her purse and information." Then the abortion at SIX weeks??? Hmm, and it seemed when she told him it happened like weeks before, certainly not days! And why not get the morning after pill if you were raped four times or twelve times in one night? That's what I would have done.

The rest of the movie Clive did one incredibly stupid thing after another. I mean, he thinks his wife will be pissed that he went up to a hotel room and was attacked even before he had sex. Yeah, it would piss me off if my husband told me this. But with a terminally ill or needing a transplant kid, and seemingly everything is fine in the marriage, I'd have been pissed but wouldn't immediately call my divorce lawyer. But the 10K payoff and THEN the 100000K payoff, all my daughter's medical fund? I'd divorce his ass. He should have just come clean, maybe not at the 10K mark, but definitely at the 100K. And whether he did or did not F Aniston, I'd forgive him, but say that I now have a Get Out of Jail Free card now for whenever I want to use it if I want to have an affair. That would make him crazy, even if I had no intention of using it, it would keep him suffering and wondering when I'll ever use it.

So yes, the first time I thought it could be a con happened during the break-in. And I'm not a liar. The other twist about LaRoche surviving I didn't see, because I thought the cops said there were four dead bodies. The ending annoyed me enough that I didn't go back to check if I misheard him. And really, Jennifer Aniston was dreadful in this. 4/10
