How is it possible that the woman, after cheating Clive Owen, repeats the same trick with another man, at the same train station, using the same hotel...it is sooooo stupid that I cannot believe it.

It has to be the same con and the same hotel.
The location should have been different though. But I think her helping out a man and him being grateful is part of the con.

I agree that that con at the same train station is a hard pill to swallow. But, what better way to get a sense of a stranger than a long a.m. commute, in listening to their cell calls, seeing what they read, etc.
Also, it basically had to be the same hotel, since some staff were in on the gig.

Some thieves consider the same spot lucky. Thats why some thieves rob the same bank multiple times within a stretch of months or the same jewelry store or the same gas station. Perhaps she considered that train line lucky since maybe Clive Owen was the 2nd or 5th sucker taken there.

Anytime someone uses the line "Nobody is so stupid"...you can instantly answer, "Yes they are" without having to read anything else. The level of stupidity that can be found in some people is staggering.
